January 1, 2024 Observer Newsletter: AEW Worlds End preview, NJPW front office changes

AEW is days away from its Worlds End PPV on 12/30 at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, NY.

It is at a very interesting crossroads. It is a very different company than one year ago. The company built around Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, Jon Moxley, and Adam Page goes into a major show where Moxley and Jericho are the only ones wrestling and a year where it appears the main characters carrying the top will be MJF, Samoa Joe, Swerve Strickland, Will Ospreay and others.

People like Megha Parekh, QT Marshall, Dana Massie, Rafael Morffi, and Kevin Sullivan, all major players behind the scenes, are either already gone, or will be gone within a week. There is no word on who will replace them. He said a new group of people will be coming in and new things will be happening and there will be exciting things to announce. He said he was really grateful to all of them for their contributions in building the company from the start.
