Tough Talk returns today after a two-week break with an in-depth
interview with longtime referee and judge “Doc” Hamilton. We discuss
the origins of knees on the ground being banned, what makes good
referees and judges, proposed changes to the 10-Point-Must-System, why
there should be a fourth judge at ringside and his recent release of
two excellent instructional DVDs for referees and judges. Then, as a
bonus, we have in its entirety Thursday’s UFC 90 media conference call
with Josh Koscheck, Thiago Alves, Patrick Cote and – representing
Anderson Silva – Ed Soares. The longest Tough Talk ever at two hours!
