Left My Wallet: Robbie E and Lenny Melnick

‘I Left My Wallet’ returns with a super-sized episode featuring former Impact star Robbie E and Fantasy Sports Writers of Association Hall of Famer Lenny Melnick.
Robbie kicks us off with a chat about his love for everything 90’s New York Knicks. We talk about the physical playoff battles with my Chicago Bulls, their physical style, why they were better than the Detroit Pistons’ “Bad Boys”, the brawl with the Miami Heat, and why they didn;t win a championship despite so many heartbreaking close calls.
We also talk about Robbie’s favorite Knicks such as Patrick Ewing, Anthony Mason, Charles Smith, John Starks, and even Eric Anderson.
Up next, we talk a whole lotta baseball with FSWA hall of famer Lenny Melnick. He gives his thoughts on his New York Mets, shares some unique baseball stories, gives his all-time fantasy baseball starting 9, what got him into fantasy baseball, and his philosophies on which players to draft, trade for, and trade away.
He discusses which players he thinks will be buy low candidates, which players to get, and which players you should probably try to trade away. We wrap up with some wrestling talk as Lenny is a huge wrestling fan dating back to Capitol Wrestling in the 1950s. He talks about his memories growing up watching wrestling and shares an awesome story of when he was a ring announcer for a local independent show.
It’s a New York State of Mind episode with Long Island’s own Robbie E. and Lenny.
