Left My Wallet: AEW’s Max Caster on sports, hip-hop and wrestling

Left My Wallet is back talking hip-hop, sports, and wrestling with AEW’s “Platinum” Max Caster.
Max is one half of the The Acclaimed with Anthony Bowens and over the last year, the team has experienced a meteoric rise from the indies to challenging for the AEW Tag Team Titles.
We talk about Max’s love of hip-hop and how it isn’t a gimmick for him, but rather who he is and what he does in everyday life. He has worked in radio and has been MCing and writing lyrics for years. For him, wrestling is a natural extension.
We talk about his love for Atmosphere, what got him into hip hop, who some of his favorites are from yesterday and today, and how he successfully morphed that with wrestling.
We then shift to sports and what it was like growing up the son of an All-Pro NFL tight end for the New York Jets, and to what extent he went with his own athletic career. We then talk about his hometown Jets, his love for Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks, and how working at SiriusXM turned his love of sports into his career of wrestling.
Finally, we discuss what has made so many Create-A-Pro graduates successful, his journey to AEW, working with the Young Bucks and SCU, the intricacies of tag team wrestling, and why a former Ring of Honor team is his favorite to watch and emulate.
