WWE Backlash Match Order Leaked: Opener ‘confirmed’

WWE Backlash 2025 Lyra Valkyria vs Becky Lynch

The match order for tonight’s WWE Backlash card appears to have been leaked ahead of time. According to Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net and PWN, Dominik Mysterio vs Penta for the Intercontinental Championship is set to open the night and John Cena vs Randy Orton will be the closer.

It’s not a shock to see Cena and Orton in the main event, but the Intercontinental Championship match opening may well be a surprise to some. The Women’s IC Title is reportedly set to be in the penultimate spot of the night, with Becky Lynch challenging Lyra Valkyria for the recently established title.
