Figure Four Weekly: Sasha Banks returns to WWE

With Sasha Banks returning on Raw last week, WWE’s women’s division got the boost it’s needed since WrestleMania 35.

The simultaneous absence of Banks and Ronda Rousey severely hurt the women’s division. Whether or not Rousey will ever come back remains to be seen, but Banks ended her four-month hiatus by returning to WWE television on the night after SummerSlam. She came back as a heel, laying out both Natalya and Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.

The segment began with Natalya giving a speech. After addressing her loss to Lynch at SummerSlam, Natalya started to discuss the one-year anniversary of her father’s death before being interrupted by Banks’ music.

Banks hugged Natalya at first. But as Banks went to grab the mic, she turned around and attacked Natalya. Banks ripped off her purple wig to reveal that she now had blue hair. Lynch tried to make the save, but Banks laid her out as well.
