WWE’s Shotzi assures fans she’s ‘fine’ after deactivating Twitter account

WWE wrestler Shotzi has assured fans that she’s “fine” after deactivating her Twitter account.

Earlier this week, Shotzi posted a statement on Twitter responding to social media criticism of her performance at Money in the Bank. Shotzi said no one got hurt in the match and she was feeling on top of the world after it was over, but some of the comments she got online after the pay-per-view “hit hard.”

“I can take a joke and laugh at myself (One of the first things I said was ‘I can’t wait to see that spot on botchamania’) but comments like ‘you should be fired’ and other terrible things admittedly hit hard,” Shotzi wrote.

Shotzi deactivated her Twitter account the day after posting the statement. In a post on her Instagram stories, Shotzi explained that she’s been going through the toughest year of her personal life and Twitter wasn’t helping her mental state.

“I appreciate everyone checking on me but I swear I’m fine. I have been going through the toughest year of my personal life so it’s deeper than nasty comments, but also twitter has not helped with my already fragile mind state,” Shotzi wrote. “Just trying to stay motivated and positive. I am focused on my goals and not what’s on the internet.”

Shotzi’s father passed away this January and her step-father passed away in April 2021.

Shotzi is a member of the SmackDown roster in WWE. She was one of the seven participants in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match at this past Saturday’s PPV.
