Seth Rollins has addressed the fan attack during Monday’s WWE Raw, calling the incident “terrifying.”
In an interview with TMZ Sports, Rollins said that the fan attack happened quickly and that he just tried to react until security arrived.
“It happened very quickly. I was mostly just reacting and hoping that our security would come and do their job. Which they did very quickly. And then was just trying to detach and move on. Hope that everybody is okay,” Rollins said.
“It’s terrifying, brother.”
Rollins went on to say that he was not injured in the attack.
“No, no serious injuries. Nothing like that. I was safe, we were safe. Everything was okay,” Rollins said.
Rollins also stated that the fan should not be allowed at future WWE shows.
“I think as a precedence he probably should not be allowed at the events,” Rollins said.
Rollins’ attacker has been charged with attempted assault and attempted violation of arts and cultural affairs following the incident on Raw at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Barclays Center is the same venue where a different fan attacked Bret Hart during the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony on April 6, 2019.
