WWE’s Jeff Hardy arrested for DWI in North Carolina

PWInsider reported Friday that WWE star Jeff Hardy was arrested for driving while impaired in Moore County, North Carolina.
Local police didn’t release further details aside from the fact he was arrested Thursday and released at 11:30 PM later that night.
This is Hardy’s second arrest in 2019 alone after a July incident in South Carolina for alleged public intoxication and impairment after he was found passed out in a public stairwell for which he paid a $153 fine. That followed a March 2018 incident in Concord, North Carolina, where he got into a single car accident while impaired that resulted in a small fine and community service.
WWE released a statement saying, “Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions.”
The 42-year-old Hardy has been on the shelf since April recovering from leg surgery that was expected to keep him out most of 2019. He and his brother, Matt, had reunited and won the SmackDown tag titles before Jeff got injured.
