WWE color commentator/podcast host Corey Graves and former SmackDown Women’s Champion Carmella announced over the weekend that they are engaged.
The two began dating in 2019. This will be the 37-year-old Graves’ second marriage and the first for the 34-year-old Carmella (Leah Van Dale). Graves (Matthew Polinsky) has three children with his ex-wife. Saturday was also Carmella’s birthday which is when Graves proposed.
Their relationship has been featured on past seasons of Total Divas. They also co-host the Bare With Us podcast which tackles relationship issues.
Graves signed with WWE in 2011, beginning as a wrestler in developmental. He retired in 2014 after suffering multiple concussions, moving into a host, panelist and commentary role. He was called up to the main roster in 2016 to be a color commentator on Raw and has also spent time on SmackDown.
Carmella signed with WWE in 2016, starting in NXT as part of the Enzo Amore/Big Cass act. She was drafted in 2016 to SmackDown and has been on both brands. She held the SmackDown Women’s title in 2018 for 131 days before losing it to Charlotte Flair in a three-way. She is also a two-time 24/7 Champion.
