Former WWE & UFC Champion Brock Lesnar appeared this morning on ESPN SportsCenter to promote SummerSlam, talking about his win over The Undertaker at WrestleMania, and said a few interesting things.

When it was brought up about how UFC president Dana White called pro wrestling “fake” on Twitter while responding to a fan who was comparing the $9.99 Network price to traditional UFC PPV costs, Lesnar said, “Well, of course, Dana. It’s fake. Everyone knows that.”

But he then went into talking about how the two are really the same business model.

“You’re (White) promoting the same thing we’re promoting. Dana White is promoting fights. We’re promoting fights. It just so happens we get a little more longevity out of our fights and fighters because of the circumstances. It is a staged arena.”

Lesnar continued, “Dana, in his defense, is promoting fights, but it’s the same thing. He’s trying to sell PPVs and trying to sell money fights. But it’s the same racket. The business model is the same. It’s identical. I think Vince is better at it than Dana and it might rub Dana the wrong way. Vince is the pioneer at this. He’s been doing this his whole life, and he’s damn good at it.”
