WWE & Topps kicking off match-worn patch program at WrestleMania 41

WWE & Topps patches

WWE and Topps are launching a patch program that kicks off at this weekend’s WrestleMania 41 and will continue with main roster rookies.

Announced on Tuesday, all wrestlers competing on either Saturday or Sunday in Las Vegas will wear a special patch on their gear or boots. The patch will then be removed, autographed and put into their own single unique trading cards, complete with authentication. The cards will be inserted into sets that will begun to be sold later this year.

The program will then continue on this Monday’s Raw for any wrestler making their main roster debut as they will wear a special patch with the same process as above. That program will continue for the foreseeable future.

Here’s a look at what they will look like:

The patch program is an extension of a program Topps first launched with Major League Baseball and Major League Soccer.

With WrestleMania 41 week now here, it’s a busy week with new partnerships and such being announced.

On Tuesday, Cody Rhodes and Fanatics announced a new WWE podcast that will launch this year while on Monday, WWE announced an extension of their deal with Mattel.
