WWE teaming with Quibi for ‘Fight Like A Girl’ series


WWE and Quibi are teaming up for a new series called Fight Like a Girl.
The sypnosis in the press release says that in each episode of the series Stephanie McMahon will “[pair] a WWE Superstar with a young woman struggling with a personal issue that has been holding her back. The WWE Superstars draw from their own life experiences, to help their trainees overcome obstacles and become tougher, stronger and healthier versions of their former selves inside and out.”
Quibi describes itself as a “mobile-first media technology platform bringing together the best of Silicon Valley and Hollywood”. It wasn’t made clear when the series will premiere on the platform.
The show will he shot at the WWE Performance Center, with both WWE Studios and Critical Content producing the show. It will be executive produced by Stephanie McMahon, Susan Levison, Ben Zietren and Richard Lowell for WWE Studios, while Tom Forman, Jenny Daly and Jon Beyer are the executive producers for Critical Content.
