WWE Talking Smack rebranded as The SmackDown LowDown


WWE Talking Smack is now known as The SmackDown LowDown.
The first show under the new name was released on the WWE Network Saturday, June 18. Scott Stanford announced the rebranding at the beginning of the episode. He will continue to host along with Matt Camp. The format of the show remains unchanged.
WWE filed to trademark “The SmackDown LowDown” on June 13, 2022.
This week’s episode opened with a discussion regarding the recently announced Last Man Standing match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. Jerry “The King” Lawler joined Stanford and Camp as well and offered his thoughts on Friday’s edition of SmackDown.
The first episode of WWE Talking Smack aired on August 2, 2016. It was originally hosted by Bryan Danielson and Renee Paquette. The Miz, JBL, Shane McMahon, Peter Rosenburg, Booker T, Jerry Lawler, and Sam Roberts have all served as co-hosts in the past.
