WWE star Seth Rollins to guest host NFL Network’s ‘Good Morning Football’

After frequently appearing on the show as a guest, WWE star Seth Rollins is now set to try his hand at hosting NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football.”

Rollins will guest host the NFL Network morning show for three straight days next week from March 24-26. A diehard Chicago Bears fan, Rollins has said he would love to work in sports media one day. His dream is to do color commentary for Bears games.

“I love hearing myself talk and I love football,” Rollins told Front Office Sports. “It’s something that I’ve always kind of been interested in, especially in the past few years. I’ve gone down to the Super Bowl and done Radio Row. I found myself guest spots on all these shows kind of talking about football, talking about the Chicago Bears. And I’ve really enjoyed it. I enjoyed meeting the people. I’ve enjoyed the process.”

In addition to this guest hosting role, Rollins wants to start a Chicago Bears podcast later this year if he’s able to find enough time between his WWE and family duties. He said WWE has been fully supportive of the podcast idea.

Rollins will be in Bologna, Italy for WWE SmackDown this Friday. His match for WrestleMania 41 should be announced imminently, with the expectation being that Rollins, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns will face off in a triple threat. All three are set to appear on Friday’s SmackDown episode.

It remains to be seen whether that match will headline one of the nights of WrestleMania 41, but Rollins told Front Office Sports that he’s not concerned about its positioning on the card.

“I don’t think it’s terribly important where it sits on the card. Because to be honest with you, you just look at the names in that match and it’s a main event,” he said. “It doesn’t really matter where it sits.”

WrestleMania 41 is taking place in Las Vegas on Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20.
