WWE South Africa house show tour rescheduled to September

WWE’s upcoming house show tour of South Africa has been pushed back to September amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The tour originally had dates scheduled in Cape Town on Wednesday, April 29, Durban on Thursday, April 20, and Johannesburg on both Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2. The new date for the Cape Town show is Thursday, September 10, Durban is Friday, September 11, and Johannesburg is now one show on Saturday, September 12.

The safety of the WWE Universe is always our top priority,” WWE wrote. “The South African government has now declared a national state of disaster, and banned travelers from high risk countries from entering [the] country as well as public gatherings of more than 100 people for the foreseeable future.”

The Cape Town show is being held at Grand Arena, GrandWest. The Durban show is at Moses Mabhida Stadium, and the Johannesburg show is at the Ticketpro Dome. The Johannesburg event is a matinee.

Here’s ticket information for the rescheduled shows:

Tickets for the Johannesburg show originally scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2020 will be valid for the new date on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020.

Tickets for the Johannesburg show originally scheduled for Friday, May 1, 2020 can be exchanged for the rescheduled show on Saturday, Sept.12, 2020. Please contact the Computicket Call centre on 0861 915 8000 to process your rebooking.

Any ticket holders that can’t make the rescheduled dates must contact Computicket on 0861 915 8000.
