WWE SmackDown viewership up slightly, 18-49 demo rating down

Friday night’s Bash in Berlin go-home episode of WWE SmackDown averaged 2.054 million viewers on Fox, up 0.2 percent from the previous week. It’s the second-lowest audience total the show has done since June 14.
SmackDown topped the prime time TV charts on Friday with a 0.53 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s down 5.4 percent from last week and is the lowest rating the show has done in that category since the June 14 episode.
There was no major sports competition for this Labor Day weekend edition of SmackDown, which was taped in advance in Germany earlier in the day before airing in the United States. It was the next-to-last episode of the show that will air on Fox before SmackDown moves to USA Network starting on September 13.
As compared to the same week in 2023, the show’s overall viewership was down 15.9 percent while its 18-49 rating was down 18.5 percent. It’s the second straight week SmackDown has had double digit year-over-year declines in both categories.
