SmackDown’s go-home show for SummerSlam ended with a possible reveal of Roman Reigns’ mystery attacker

The storyline continued with Reigns vowing to get answers by the end of the night. Reigns confronted Buddy Murphy about being there when he was first attacked. Murphy said he didn’t know who did it — and he wouldn’t tell Reigns if he did. After being beaten up by Reigns, Murphy accused Rowan of being the attacker.

Daniel Bryan & Rowan faced Big E & Xavier Woods in last night’s main event. Bryan & Rowan got themselves disqualified when Rowan hit Woods with the steel steps. Bryan & Rowan then laid out Big E & Woods after the match.

Shane McMahon appeared on the KO Show ahead of his match against Kevin Owens at SummerSlam. The segment ended with Shane and Elias attacking Owens. Owens got trapped under the announce table, then Shane dropkicked a steel chair into his face.

Also on last night’s show, Kofi Kingston responded to Randy Orton, Trish Stratus slapped Charlotte Flair, Dolph Ziggler mocked Goldberg’s entrance, and Ember Moon faced Natalya ahead of their respective title matches on Sunday.
