WWE SmackDown video highlights: Shinsuke Nakamura returns

Following an extended absence from WWE programming, Shinsuke Nakamura made his return last night.
In his first match back, Nakamura made quick work of Madcap Moss on last night’s SmackDown. Moss briefly had the advantage early until Nakamura took control and won with the Kinshasa. Moss tried to attack Nakamura after the match but was put in an armbar.
Nakamura’s next feud was then revealed as a warning from Karrion Kross and Scarlett played.
WWE uploaded a post-show interview with Nakamura after SmackDown went off the air. Nakamura said his aim in returning is to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
Last night was Nakamura’s first televised match for WWE since November 2022. He also was in action for Pro Wrestling NOAH this January, defeating The Great Muta on Muta’s retirement tour.
