WWE SmackDown video highlights: Season premiere episode

Last night’s SmackDown was both the season premiere edition of the show and the final stop before Extreme Rules.
Paul “Triple H” Levesque kicked off the episode and welcomed everyone to SmackDown. “There will come a time when you believe that everything is finished, but that is the beginning,” Levesque said. “Welcome to Fox, and welcome to the season premiere of Friday Night SmackDown.”
In the main event of the show, Gunther and Sheamus faced off in a rematch from their classic at Clash at the Castle. Gunther took advantage of a distraction and retained the Intercontinental title after hitting Sheamus with a Shillelagh. There was also a moment during the match where it appeared that Gunther tapped out, but the referee waved it off and said Gunther didn’t give up.
Plus, Roman Reigns and Logan Paul went face-to-face, Legado del Fantasma debuted with the returning Zelina Vega now part of their ranks, and more.
