WWE SmackDown video highlights: The new Daniel Bryan appears

The new Daniel Bryan made an appearance on SmackDown’s post-Survivor Series episode.

Bryan cut a promo while speaking in the third person and explained his heel turn from last week. Bryan said the act of betrayal he committed wasn’t last Tuesday, it was when he retired nearly three years ago and gave up on his dreams. He said the difference between him and the fans is that he doesn’t accept failure.

Bryan said the “Yes” chants grew quieter every week and he stopped fighting — but his dreams took over when he low blowed AJ Styles and won the WWE Championship. His dreams told him he didn’t need to defeat Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series to win, he won by allowing Lesnar to beat the weakness out of him.

Bryan called the old Daniel Bryan and the Yes Movement dead.

A new side of Charlotte Flair was also on display after beating down Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series. She was fined $100,000 by Paige in storyline and laid out both of The IIconics.

Randy Orton faced Rey Mysterio in last night’s main event and left with Mysterio’s mask after the match, Shane McMahon’s appearance on Miz TV led to him and Miz losing to an enhancement team, and The New Day took on Cesaro, Sheamus & Big Show in a Thanksgiving Feast Fight.
