WWE SmackDown video highlights: Mysterio vs. Miz, Orton vs. Hardy

WWE continued building to Crown Jewel and finished building to Evolution on last night’s SmackDown.

The four wrestlers who will be representing SmackDown in the World Cup tournament were in action last night, with Rey Mysterio defeating The Miz and Randy Orton defeating Jeff Hardy. AJ Styles & Daniel Bryan also teamed up against The Usos for the second straight week ahead of their WWE Championship match at Crown Jewel.

Another match was confirmed for Crown Jewel, with WWE announcing that The New Day will get their Tag Team title rematch against Cesaro & Sheamus at the event.

The go-home show for Evolution featured WWE airing an angle where Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch got into a physical altercation at the Performance Center over the weekend, and Asuka stood tall heading into the battle royal that will be taking place at Sunday’s pay-per-view.
