WWE SmackDown video highlights: Money in the Bank go-home show

WWE finished building to Money in the Bank on last night’s go-home episode of SmackDown.

Universal Champion Braun Strowman and his Money in the Bank challenger Bray Wyatt went face-to-face ahead of their title match at the pay-per-view. Wyatt again brought up his history with Strowman in the Wyatt Family, urging Strowman to come home and give up the Universal title. Strowman declined Wyatt’s offer and vowed to keep the Universal title by defeating Wyatt on Sunday.

Otis was Daniel Bryan & Drew Gulak’s tag team partner for their match against Baron Corbin, Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro in last night’s main event. Corbin pinned Gulak to get the win and then stood tall in a post-match brawl. The show ended with Corbin symbolically grabbing the Money in the Bank briefcase heading into Sunday’s ladder match.

Tamina & Lacey Evans teamed against Bayley & Sasha Banks, with Tamina pinning Bayley ahead of their SmackDown Women’s Championship match at Money in the Bank. The Miz, John Morrison & The Forgotten Sons also defeated The New Day & The Lucha House Party prior to Sunday’s fatal four-way SmackDown Tag Team title match.

The feud between Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville continued with Deville picking up a win by rolling up Rose last night. Plus, Jeff Hardy made his return and fought off Sheamus.
