WWE SmackDown video highlights: Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph ZIggler

In a match with implications for Extreme Rules, Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler again faced off on last night’s SmackDown.

The stipulation was that — if Ziggler defeated Kingston in their two-out-of-three falls match — he’d get added to Kingston and Samoa Joe’s WWE Championship match at Extreme Rules. Kingston won the first and third falls to keep Ziggler from getting the title shot.

Kingston retained the WWE title against Ziggler in a steel cage match at Stomping Grounds on Sunday.

There were also Extreme Rules implications for Bayley vs. Nikki Cross on last night’s SmackDown. Cross defeated Bayley, which means that Alexa Bliss will get another shot at Bayley’s SmackDown Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules.

Shinsuke Nakamura had a staredown with Finn Balor and looks to be the next challenger for Balor’s Intercontinental title. Aleister Black also finally got a knock at his door, though the person knocking wasn’t revealed.
