WWE SmackDown video highlights: Kingston vs. Styles vs. Zayn

The WWE Championship was again on the line in the main event of this week’s episode of SmackDown.

After retaining against Daniel Bryan on Raw, Kofi Kingston defended his title against AJ Styles and Sami Zayn on SmackDown. Styles and Zayn were appearing on SmackDown as part of the “Wild Card rule” that was introduced on Monday. The Usos appeared on last night’s show as well.

Kevin Owens attacked Xavier Woods and tried to distract Kingston, but Kingston retained after hitting Zayn with Trouble in Paradise.

New SmackDown Tag Team Champions were also crowned this week. After WWE hyped that Shane McMahon would be naming the new champions, there was a segment where The Usos interrupted Shane as he was going to give the titles to Daniel Bryan & Rowan. A title match was made, with Bryan & Rowan defeating The Usos to become SmackDown Tag Team Champions.
