WWE SmackDown video highlights: Kingston and Joe go face-to-face

The build to Kofi Kingston and Samoa Joe’s WWE Championship match continued with a face-to-face segment on last night’s SmackDown.

After going back and forth on the microphone, Joe guaranteed the safety of Kingston and everyone he holds dear up until Extreme Rules if Kingston would shake his hand. Kingston gave Joe the middle finger instead. Joe charged at Kingston, but Kingston laid him out with Trouble in Paradise.

Another team was added to the SmackDown Tag Team title match at Extreme Rules. It will now be Daniel Bryan & Rowan defending their titles against Big E & Xavier Woods and Heavy Machinery at the July 14 pay-per-view.

Heavy Machinery defeated Kevin Owens & Dolph Ziggler last night to get the title shot. Ziggler accidentally superkicked Owens at the end of the match, then Owens gave him a stunner after.

The Heavy Machinery vs. Owens & Ziggler match was set up during Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre’s appearance on the KO Show. It was also announced that a no holds barred stipulation is set for The Undertaker & Roman Reigns vs. Shane & McIntyre at Extreme Rules.

Nikki Cross hosted A Moment of Bliss and then lost a match against Bayley, and Aleister Black challenged the person who knocked at his door to face him at Extreme Rules.
