WWE SmackDown video highlights: Jimmy Uso explains his betrayal

Six days after SummerSlam, Jimmy Uso offered an explanation for why he betrayed his twin brother.

The Usos spoke for the first time since SummerSlam on last night’s episode of SmackDown. Jimmy revealed that he wasn’t trying to help Roman Reigns by costing Jey the Tribal Combat match. Jimmy said it had nothing to do with being jealous of Jey either — he did it because he loves Jey. Jimmy said he was afraid to lose his twin brother. He didn’t want to see Jey take on the role of Tribal Chief and become an “egotistical, lying, manipulative assh*le” like Reigns.

Jimmy said that if Jey wants to kick his face off, that’s fine. Jey looked to be considering it but turned his back to Jimmy instead. Jimmy then left the ring.

After being mocked by Reigns over the situation, Jey responded by rocking the Tribal Chief with a superkick. Jey ended up laying out both Reigns and Solo Sikoa.

Jey then got on the microphone and told Jimmy to come here. It seemed like The Usos were going to hug and reunite, but Jey laid out Jimmy with a superkick. Jey looked into the camera and said he’s leaving WWE.

“I’m out. I’m out of The Bloodline. I’m out of SmackDown. I’m out of WWE. Deuces, Uces!”
