WWE SmackDown video highlights: Final build to the Royal Rumble
On the night before the Royal Rumble, the SmackDown women’s division got a big return.
Sasha Banks made her return to SmackDown on last night’s go-home show, declaring that she’s “ready to Rumble.” Banks will be one of the 30 entrants in Saturday’s women’s Royal Rumble match.
Banks had been out of action since the beginning of January with a bruised calcaneus bone. WWE initially stated that she would miss 6-8 weeks.
SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair kicked off last night’s show until being interrupted by Shayna Baszler, Aliyah, Natalya, Shotzi, and the returning Banks. A brawl ended with Banks throwing Charlotte out of the ring.
Plus, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins went face-to-face one final time ahead of the Royal Rumble, Naomi finally faced off with Sonya Deville in a one-on-one match, and more.
