WWE SmackDown video highlights: Daniel Bryan faces Jeff Hardy

Daniel Bryan and Jeff Hardy faced each other for the first time ever as their match headlined this week’s SmackDown.

And with him using a heel hook to submit Hardy, it will be Bryan who faces Samoa Joe in a Money in the Bank qualifying match next week. Bryan and Joe went face-to-face in the ring at the end of last night’s show, with Joe then cutting a promo where he promised to put Bryan to sleep.

Bryan responded in a post-show video, saying he isn’t afraid of being put to sleep and could put Joe on the shelf by tearing out his knee.

There were also two Money in the Bank qualifiers. Lana defeated Billie Kay and Naomi beat Sonya Deville, and they’ll join Ember Moon, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch, and Natalya in the women’s ladder match. Plus, WWE revealed the stipulation for AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura’s next title match, Andrade “Cien” Almas got another dominant win, and Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson won a Tag Team title shot by defeating The Usos.
