WWE SmackDown video highlights: Charlotte calls out locker room

Following last week’s title exchange debacle, an appearance by Charlotte Flair kicked off last night’s SmackDown.
Charlotte cut a promo about becoming SmackDown Women’s Champion, calling herself the face of the women’s division, the face of the company, and the most decorated woman in WWE history. Charlotte said no one is going to change that.
Charlotte said that when other people win a title, it’s the biggest day of their life. But for her, it’s just another Friday.
Charlotte said order has finally been restored to SmackDown after last week’s drama. She said the women on SmackDown need a real leader like her and someone who will bring out the best in them.
Sasha Banks then interrupted Charlotte. Banks wanted a SmackDown Women’s Championship match, but Charlotte said this is a new era and she’s beaten Banks enough previously. Charlotte said she thinks a new face deserves a match against her. Banks asked Charlotte if she was being gracious or just being scared.
After Shotzi made her way out, Charlotte agreed to face her in a non-title match. Charlotte got the win with Natural Selection after Shotzi was accidentally distracted by Banks. That caused Shotzi to apparently turn heel as she beat down Banks after the match.
Last night’s SmackDown aired on FS1 due to game three of the World Series being on Fox. Universal Champion Roman Reigns didn’t appear on television, but his cousins The Usos were in action in the main event. The New Day’s Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston defeated the SmackDown Tag Team Champions in a non-title match.
