WWE SmackDown video highlights: Bryan & Shane explain their actions

Both Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon explained why they acted the way they did at Clash of Champions on last night’s post-PPV edition of SmackDown.
Shane said his emotions got the better of him after everything Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have done over the past few months. Bryan told Shane that he was protecting him from himself, mentioning that Shane tried to take Owens and Zayn’s opportunity away when that goes against the shared vision Bryan and Shane have had for SmackDown.
Bryan said Shane should fire him if he wants to fire someone and told him that he doesn’t want to see him become Mr. McMahon, but Shane said he trusts Bryan and wished him luck on the show.
Also on SmackDown, Dolph Ziggler left his United States Championship in the ring after saying the fans don’t deserve him, Charlotte Flair and Naomi reacted to Monday’s announcement of the first women’s Royal Rumble, and AJ Styles, Randy Orton & Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Owens, Zayn & Jinder Mahal headlined the episode.
