WWE SmackDown video highlights: Bray Wyatt’s emotional return promo

An emotional Bray Wyatt addressed his return to WWE on last night’s episode of SmackDown.

After making his return at Extreme Rules, Wyatt spoke to the audience in the main event segment of SmackDown last night. Wyatt said he was incredibly grateful but nervous to be there because he never thought this would happen.

Wyatt said that — for the first time — this was just him. The genuine Bray Wyatt is a version of himself that he’s never introduced to the audience before. Wyatt said he lost a lot of things over the past year: his career, his self-confidence, two people who were very close to him, and he lost his way.

Wyatt noted that he got to a point where he thought everything he’d ever done was meaningless and didn’t matter to anyone, but he was wrong about that. Once he was done feeling sorry for himself, he went out back into the world and had remarkable interactions with fans. People who were dealing with the same issues as him told Wyatt that his words helped them and saved their life.

Wyatt said the fans saved his life when he was weak and vulnerable. Whenever he tried to run away and hide, the fans were there to find him.

As Wyatt was speaking, the lights went out and he then appeared on the screen wearing a mask. The masked Wyatt delivered a message: “Oh little one, my little one. Come with me. Your life is done. Forget the future. Forget the past. Life is over. Breathe your last. You’ve got no idea who you’re dealing with, do ya? Oh, but you will. You will.”
