WWE SmackDown video highlights: Bianca Belair’s homecoming

Bianca Belair returned to Knoxville, Tennessee for a homecoming celebration on last night’s SmackDown.

Last night’s show took place at the Thompson-Boling Arena, which is located on the campus of the University of Tennessee (Belair’s alma mater). Knox County mayor and WWE Hall of Famer Glenn “Kane” Jacobs hosted the celebration for Belair.

Jacobs presented Belair with the key to Knox County. Belair celebrated with the crowd by singing “Rocky Top,” but the celebration was then crashed by SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.

Lynch mocked Belair after interrupting the segment. Lynch said SummerSlam was her night and Extreme Rules probably will be too, but this night was Belair’s. Lynch claimed that she was there to show Belair respect. She offered to shake Belair’s hand. Belair accepted, but she wouldn’t let go when Lynch tried to pull away. Belair then ducked a strike by Lynch and went to hit the KOD, but Lynch got out of it and gave Belair the Manhandle Slam.

Belair defeated Lynch in a non-title dark match after last night’s show went off the air.
