WWE SmackDown tops 1.1 million viewers for FS1 episode


Friday night’s WWE SmackDown averaged 1.145 million viewers on FS1. The episode was moved to FS1 due to game one of the World Series airing on Fox.
SmackDown drew a 0.35 rating in the 18-49 demo, which is down 2.8 percent from the last time the show aired on FS1 this July. The viewership was down 6.9 percent from the last FS1 episode. Both the overall viewership and 18-49 rating are the second-highest numbers SmackDown has ever done on FS1.
Going head-to-head against SmackDown, the World Series game topped all of television, averaging more than nine million viewers and drawing a 1.95 rating in 18-49.
Two NBA games on ESPN also finished ahead of the show on Friday night.
As compared to the same week in 2022, when SmackDown was also moved to FS1 due to World Series coverage, the show’s overall audience was up 37.1 percent while its 18-49 rating was up 52.2 percent.
