WWE SmackDown ties best 18-49 demo number on USA, down in total viewers

Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown averaged 1.571 million viewers on the USA Network, down 9.8% from the previous week, but tied its best 18-49 rating since returning to USA Network last year.

SmackDown on Friday, March 14 finished second on all of television with a 0.52 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s the same rating the show did last week and matches the best rating the show has done in that category since the debut episode on USA Network on September 13 of last year.

The show went head to head with a Duke vs North Carolina basketball game on ESPN that topped all television with 0.56 rating in the 18-49 demo and 2.259 million viewers overall.

As compared to the same week in 2024, when the show still aired on Fox, the overall viewership was down 32.9% while the 18-49 rating was down 23.5%.

This week’s show was up 1.1% in overall viewers and 10.6% in 18-49 as compared to recent averages.

SmackDown was taped earlier in the day in Barcelona and aired live in most of the rest of the world on Netflix.
