WWE SmackDown ratings up for WrestleMania press conference fallout


Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown averaged 2.578 million viewers on Fox, up 4.4 percent from the previous week. It’s the largest audience total for the show since August 25 of last year.
The episode took place one day after WWE’s WrestleMania 40 press conference.
SmackDown drew a 0.75 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s up 1.4 percent from last week and is also the show’s highest rating in that category since the August 25 episode, which was a special tribute to Bray Wyatt and Terry Funk.
As compared to the same week in 2023, SmackDown’s overall audience was up 4.5 percent while its 18-49 rating was up 17.2 percent. It’s the 11th straight week the show has had a year-over-year increase in the key demo.
