WWE SmackDown ratings up for King & Queen of the Ring fallout

Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown averaged 2.31 million viewers on FOX, up 7.6% from the previous week. It’s the largest audience for the show since April 5th, which was the go-home show for WrestleMania 40.

SmackDown topped all of broadcast network television with a 0.65 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s up 16.1% from last week and is the highest rating the show has done in that category since April 12th.

The show had lesser sports competition than usual with the NBA conference finals finishing early. It aired head-to-head with game 5 of the NHL’s western conference final.

As compared to the same week in 2023, SmackDown’s overall viewership was down 9.9% while the 18-49 rating was down 11%. Three of the last four episodes has had a year-over-year decline in the 18-49 audience.
