WWE SmackDown ratings down, tops network TV in 18-49


Friday’s WrestleMania 38 fallout edition of SmackDown averaged 2,230,000 viewers on Fox, down 5.5 percent from the previous week’s episode. It’s the second-largest audience for the show since March 4.
SmackDown drew a 0.60 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 4.8 percent from the previous week. It’s the show’s second-highest rating in that category since January 28.
SmackDown topped network television in the key demo, finishing 22 percent ahead of the next highest competition. SmackDown also led network TV in the 18-34 category with a 0.39 rating, 56 percent higher than second place Shark Tank on ABC. In total viewers, SmackDown finished seventh out of eight network programs, beating only ABC’s 20/20.
As compared to the same week in 2021, SmackDown was down 0.9 percent in total viewers and down 1.6 percent in the key demo.
