WWE SmackDown ratings down slightly for Elimination Chamber go-home show

Friday night’s SmackDown averaged 2.173 million viewers on Fox, down 2.6 percent from the previous week. It’s the second-lowest audience for SmackDown so far in 2022.

The episode, which was SmackDown’s Elimination Chamber go-home show, was taped a week in advance.

In the 18-49 demo, SmackDown drew a 0.54 rating, down 1.8 percent from the previous week. With the exception of NBC’s coverage of the Winter Olympics, SmackDown beat everything else on television for the night.

The rating was also the second-lowest 18-49 demo number that SmackDown has done in 2022.

SmackDown led all-non Olympic programming on the broadcast networks with a 0.33 rating in the 18-34 demo but trailed ESPN’s coverage the NBA All-Star Weekend with that age group.

As compared to the same week in 2021, SmackDown was down two percent in overall viewers and down 8.5 percent in 18-49.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo numbers for Fox airings of SmackDown. This week’s show was almost exactly the same as the recent averages in both categories.
