WWE SmackDown ratings down slightly, finishes first on TV


Friday’s episode of SmackDown averaged 2.226 million viewers on Fox, down 1.5 percent from the previous week. It’s the fourth-highest viewership for the show so far in 2022.
SmackDown led all of television with a 0.57 rating in the 18-49 demo. That was down 3.4 percent from the previous week’s SmackDown but also tied for the show’s fourth-highest rating in that category for the year thus far.
SmackDown also led all network programming with a 0.37 rating in the 18-34 demo, though it did trail an NCAA basketball game on ESPN in that category.
SmackDown finished seventh out of nine network shows in terms of total viewers.
As compared to the same week in 2021, SmackDown was up 2.5 percent in total viewers but down 6.6 percent in 18-49.
Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo numbers for SmackDown on Fox. This week’s show was up two percent in viewers and up 1.8 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
