WWE SmackDown ratings down, ranks first on cable

Friday night’s WWE SmackDown episode averaged 1.401 million viewers on USA Network, down 1.6 percent from the previous week. Despite the decrease, this is still the second-highest audience total for the show since May 9.
SmackDown topped the cable charts with a 0.38 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s down 9.5 percent from last week but is also the second-highest number the show has done in that demo since the May 9 episode.
The show aired head-to-head with game four of the NBA Finals on ABC, which topped all of television with a 2.66 rating in 18-49 and 9.405 million viewers overall. The game itself and the pre-game show were the top two programs on TV in the demo on Friday with SmackDown ranking third.
As compared to the same week in 2024, when the show still aired on Fox, SmackDown’s overall viewership was down 28.5 percent while the 18-49 rating was down 26.9 percent.
