WWE SmackDown ratings down from previous week

Friday’s SmackDown averaged 2,142,000 viewers on Fox, down 4.1 percent from the previous week. It’s the second-lowest audience of the year for the show.

In the 18-49 demo, SmackDown drew a 0.48 rating, down 20 percent from the previous week. That matches the lowest rating SmackDown has done in 18-49 since last July.

The show went against the final night of the NBA playoff play-in tournament. Ratings for the NBA games are not available at this time, but they likely were the reason for the big 18-49 decline for SmackDown.

As compared to the same week in 2021, SmackDown was down 14.3 percent in the 18-49 demo but up 1.1 percent in overall viewers.

As shown in the chart below, this week’s SmackDown was down three percent in viewers and down 14.3 percent in 18-49 as compared to the 10-week averages prior to this week.
