WWE SmackDown draws lowest ratings of 2024

Friday night’s Clash at the Castle go-home edition of WWE SmackDown averaged 1.959 million viewers on Fox, down 11.2 percent from the previous week. This is the lowest audience total for a first-run episode of SmackDown on Fox since August 2022.
The episode was taped in advance in Scotland earlier in the day before airing on Fox.
It drew a 0.52 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s down 14.8 percent from last week and ties the lowest rating for a first-run episode of SmackDown since November 2022. There was a best-of episode that aired on December 29 of last year that did 1.355 million viewers and a 0.28 rating in the demo.
The show went head-to-head with game four of the NBA Finals, which topped all of television with a 2.82 rating in 18-49 and averaged more than 9.6 million viewers. SmackDown beat everything else on network and cable TV in the demo with the exception of the NBA pre-game show.
As compared to the same week in 2023, SmackDown’s overall viewership was down 19.4 percent while its 18-49 rating was down 22.4 percent.
