WWE releases former NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose

Mandy Rose is no longer with WWE.

As first reported by Fightful Select and since confirmed by our own Dave Meltzer, Rose has been released from the company. Content Rose was posting to her FanTime account played a role in her departure.

“There’s a lot to the Mandy Rose firing today and the title change last night was a last minute decision based on the fact she was getting fired and not the original plan,” Meltzer posted to Twitter. “We’ll talk about it a lot on tonight’s show. Crazy show tonight.”

Rose posts adult-themed photos and videos for subscribers under the name Mandysacs through FanTime. A subscription to the page costs $25 per month.

The 32-year-old had been with the company since 2015 after taking part in the sixth season of Tough Enough. She made her main roster debut in late 2017 as part of the Absolution faction with Saraya (Paige) and Sonya Deville. She returned to NXT in the summer of 2021 and won the women’s title at Halloween Havoc later that year.

Rose dropped the NXT Championship to Roxanne Perez on Tuesday’s edition of NXT. The match was originally scheduled to take place at New Year’s Evil on January 10. However, an angle played out in the opening segment of last night’s show that saw Perez challenge the champion to face her that night.
