Monday’s Raw, with no football competition, was up two percent from last week with 1.85 million viewers. That’s more of an indication of how well last week’s episode did with the Triple H return and curiosity over Drew McIntyre addressing his positive COVID-19 test that was announced on the day of the show.

The number is likely on the low end of what Raw should be doing post-football which would be around 1.9 million viewers for an average episode. Monday’s show drew a 0.60 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s up nine percent from last week, but 18-34 was down 11 percent from last week.

Raw was third for the night in 18-49, trailing two NBA games on TNT. In total viewers, Raw was 34th, but all shows that beat Raw were either NBA or news.

Straight Up Steve Austin, which aired on the USA Network after Raw, averaged 672,000 viewers and drew a 0.19 rating in 18-49, putting it at the 40th spot in the cable rankings, but even out of prime time, it was 11th not including news shows.

Raw was fourth in women 18-49, third in men 18-49, third in 18-34, fourth in women 12-34, and fourth in men 12-34.

The first two hours were strong and the third hour fell at a little above usual levels. The NBA game against the first two hours drew 2.11 million viewers and a 0.87 rating in 18-49, and the game against hour three drew 2.32 million viewers and a 0.91 rating in the demo.

As compared to one year ago, Raw was down 22 percent overall, 28 percent in 18-49, and 46 percent in 18-34.

The drops from hour one to three were 19 percent for women 18-49, ten percent for men 18-49, five percent for teenage girls, a seven percent gain for teenage boys, and a 14 percent drop for over 50.

The three hours were:

  • 8 p.m. 1.99 million viewers
  • 9 p.m. 1.88 million viewers
  • 10 p.m. 1.70 million viewers
