WWE Raw viewership down, 18-49 demo rating up

Raw last night averaged 1.48 million viewers with a 0.44 rating in the 18-49 demo.

The show was down slightly in viewers but up in 18-49 against tougher competition as both the Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Chargers NFL game and the Philadelphia Phillies vs. Arizona Diamondbacks baseball playoff game were up as compared to last week.

Between ABC (10.72 million/2.17) and ESPN (8.81 million/3.13) the NFL game did 19.59 million viewers and a 5.30 rating in 18-49, up 16 percent in 18-49 and up 13 percent in viewers from last week. The baseball playoffs did 3.72 million/0.87, up 18 percent in viewers but only up two percent in 18-49 from last week.

Raw was fifth on cable and third in the time slot, behind three NFL-related shows on ESPN and the baseball playoffs on TBS.

Raw was down five percent in viewers, but up four percent in 18-49 and up six percent in 18-34 from last week.

The biggest growth from last week was men 18-34.

From one year ago, Raw was down 18 percent in viewers, down eight percent in 18-49, and down two percent in 18-34. Factoring in the decline in homes with cable over the past year, the real figures would be down 13 percent in viewers but up one percent in 18-49 and up eight percent in 18-34.

The three hours were:

  • 8 p.m. 1.54 million viewers
  • 9 p.m. 1.53 million viewers
