Raw last night fell to 1.70 million viewers, the lowest since football season ended, but did strong with a 0.56 rating in 18-49 and a 0.35 in 18-34.

The overall audience fell due to the NCAA basketball tournament on CBS, with the early game drawing 5.92 million viewers, a 1.37 rating in 18-49, and a 1.01 in 18-34. The late game did 6.45 million viewers and drew a 1.71 in 18-49 and a 1.33 in 18-34.

Raw was first on cable in 18-49, women 18-49, men 18-49, 18-34, women 12-34, and men 12-34.

Raw was eighth on cable for total viewers, trailing six news shows and the women’s NCAA basketball tournament game on ESPN.

The younger audience was late arriving and there were not the usual drops in the key demos as the show went on. First-to-third-hour changes saw women 18-49 up six percent, men 18-49 up 13 percent, teenage girls up 38 percent, teenage boys up 11 percent, and over 50 dropped 13 percent which explains the audience drop even though all the key demos increased.

As compared to last week, the audience overall was down six percent, but 18-49 was up six percent and 18-34 was up 40 percent.

As compared to the same show one year ago, the audience was down 12 percent, 18-49 was down three percent, and 18-34 was down eight percent. These declines are much lower than Raw has been doing most weeks.

The three hours were:

  • 8 p.m. 1.73 million viewers
  • 9 p.m. 1.70 million viewers
  • 10 p.m. 1.67 million viewers
