WWE Raw video highlights: Vince McMahon aligns with Charlotte
Raw’s go-home show for Elimination Chamber ended with a significant development in the storyline for the Raw Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania.
The episode ended with Vince McMahon and Charlotte Flair aligning, with Vince “suspending” Lynch for 60 days and claiming that Charlotte is replacing her in the match against Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35. Vince called Charlotte someone with charisma, someone with charm, and someone who knows their lane and stays in it.
He raised Charlotte’s hand, saying that’s what Rousey will be seeing when Charlotte defeats her.
There had been a show-long angle after Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, and Lynch were involved in the opening segment. Lynch was given an ultimatum and told she had to apologize or lose her spot at WrestleMania. She ended up doing so but said “now that that nonsense is out of the way” right after.
Also on Raw, Seth Rollins appeared and was interrupted by Paul Heyman, The Revival defeated Bobby Roode & Chad Gable to win the Tag Team titles, and a triple threat match decided which team will enter Sunday’s Women’s Tag Team title Elimination Chamber match first.
