WWE Raw video highlights: Seth Rollins attacks Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes’ rivalry with Seth Rollins isn’t over yet.
Ahead of undergoing surgery for his torn pec later this week, Rhodes appeared on Raw last night and addressed the injury. Rhodes said he chose to compete at Hell in a Cell to show his daughter that, even in the darkest of times, her father wasn’t cynical or jaded. He stood and fought against one of the best wrestlers in Rollins.
Rhodes said that he was done with Rollins after beating him at Hell in a Cell, and Rhodes teased that he could potentially be back in time for Money in the Bank despite undergoing surgery.
Rollins then made his way out to the ring. While admitting that he still doesn’t like Rhodes, Rollins said Rhodes has earned his respect. Rollins said Dusty Rhodes would be very proud of Cody right now.
Rollins shook Rhodes’ hand and headed backstage, but it was revealed to all be a ruse. Rollins attacked Rhodes with a sledgehammer on the stage and then targeted Rhodes’ injured pec.
After officials were finally able to stop the attack, Rhodes refused to leave on a stretcher and instead walked off on his own power.
A major angle also took place last night as The Judgment Day turned against Edge and unveiled Finn Balor as their new leader. Plus, Rhea Ripley won a fatal four-way number one contender’s match and will challenge Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank.
