WWE Raw video highlights: Randy Orton attacks Edge

The build to Edge vs. Randy Orton picked up on the post-Royal Rumble episode of Raw.

The night after coming back to the ring, Edge addressed his return in the main event segment of last night’s Raw. He was interrupted by Orton, who hugged Edge and proposed reuniting their Rated RKO team. The fans chanted “Yes” and wanted Edge to accept. But before he could answer, Orton dropped him with an RKO.

Orton then went and got a steel chair. He hit Edge with the chair and wrapped his head around it. Orton went up to the middle rope and looked conflicted. He got down, took Edge’s head out of the chair, and appeared to have decided against continuing the attack. But he then got two chairs and laid out Edge with a con-chair-to.

The men’s Royal Rumble match had come down to Drew McIntyre, Roman Reigns, Edge,and Orton on Sunday night. Edge and Orton worked together, but Edge eliminated Orton after he caught Orton about to turn against him. McIntyre won the Rumble and will challenge for Brock Lesnar’s WWE Championship at WrestleMania 36.
